Well well well...I won't even try to come up with any elaborate excuses. Like I said in my last post in SEPTEMBER, the work-life balance is really really hard (still, that's what she said) and unfortunately, posting a blog update is not high on my list of priorities. Or even on my list of things to do when I have time. Or energy. Sad, but true.
But now...SUMMER is right around the corner - and that means long days, pool trips, evening walks, watermelon, and all things wonderful. HOWEVER...this summer, we're adding another little guy to the mix! Ryan's baby brother is due sometime late June/early July (I think all 5 of my readers already know that though), and since life with a newborn is hectic, and life with a 3-year-old is hectic....I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can update this blog like I did last summer. That's my goal. I really do enjoy going back through the posts to see what we did last summer, and I love it :) So hopefully, I'll be able to keep up with the blog posts despite being sleep-deprived, energy-deprived, and transitioning to life with more than one child.
